About the Artist in her own words: Every painting casts a spell.. I’m an acrylic painter based in Albuquerque. I moved to New Mexico at the best and worst time of my life. I was falling in love with my partner and new home. At the same time, my beloved father was dying. I enjoyed exploring outside, and learned the names of new plants, birds, and mountains. In doing so, I rediscovered a magic that humans have always had access to if they looked for it – the ability to tune into nature's cycles and patterns and find comfort in them. My painting is part of that spiritual path.
