About the Artist:
Jacob Gutierrez was born and raised in Albuquerque NM.He grew up very close to family and they remain his biggest influence. Jacob graduated from UNM with degrees in both Art Studio and Chicana & Chicano studies. He initially went to school to study Astrophysics but fell in love with printmaking. He chose a path where he could combine his art and culture. Jacob also does woodcarving and tin work.
