This is a high-responsibility position for a self-starter who naturally takes ownership of their work, notices what needs to be done, and gets it done efficiently. If you’re someone who enjoys optimizing processes and managing retail sales, e-commerce operations, and fulfillment without hand-holding, we want to hear from you. This role is dynamic and hands-on, requiring you to work across all positions within the store, including sales floor operations, customer engagement, and back-end e-commerce management. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing a small, intimate team with a leadership style that is level-headed, approachable, and fine-tuned to keeping the business on track. You must be able to engage respectfully with ownership while also leading employees with clarity and accountability.

What You'll DoRetail & Customer Experience
- Deliver an outstanding customer experience—helping shoppers find unique, locally made goods.
- Maintain a visually compelling retail space that reflects our brand.
- Engage customers with authentic interactions, sharing the stories behind our locally made products.
- Assist customers in selecting thoughtful gifts, providing recommendations and insights.
- Work as a floor employee, handling transactions, assisting with sales, and managing inventory.
- Restock and organize inventory to maintain a well-run store.
E-Commerce & Fulfillment
- Oversee online store operations, keeping product listings updated and optimized.
- Process, pack, and ship online orders efficiently.
- Ensure a seamless connection between in-store and online sales.
Team & Business Leadership
- Lead a small, dedicated team with an approach that is level-headed, supportive, and focused on accountability.
- Keep business operations on track by proactively identifying and resolving inefficiencies.
- Maintain strong communication with ownership while leading employees with respect and clarity.
Marketing, Events & Business Growth
- Spot inefficiencies and proactively improve them.
- Contribute to marketing strategies, social media, and digital updates.
- Support event planning and execution, bringing creative retail experiences to life.
- Assist in innovating and expanding gift box options for walk-in customers and corporate clients.
- Help increase corporate gifting sales by identifying potential new clients and creative gifting opportunities.
- Organize and participate in events such as Art Walk, pop-up markets, and in-store activations.
- Develop in-store demos, customer engagement activities, and skill-sharing sessions to enhance brand visibility and drive sales.
- Brainstorm and implement creative ways to expand corporate gifting into new, innovative arenas.
