We take pride in offering unique and high-quality items that celebrate the creativity and craftsmanship of our community. In addition to our storefront, we provide corporate gifting services and operate a website featuring gift boxes that can be shipped internationally.
Job Description:
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at Flyby Provisions. This position plays a crucial role in supporting various aspects of our business operations, including bookkeeping, data management, record-keeping, and event coordination.
Responsibilities:
- Perform bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and receivable, expense tracking, and invoice processing
- Maintain accurate financial records and assist with budget management
- Manage data entry and database maintenance to ensure information is up-to-date and easily accessible
- Organize and maintain physical and digital files, including customer records, vendor contracts, and inventory data
- Assist with event coordination, including scheduling, logistics, and communication with vendors and attendees
- Provide administrative support to the management team, including drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, and preparing reports
- Assist with general office tasks as needed, such as answering phones, responding to emails, and greeting visitors
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in administrative support roles, preferably in a retail or small business environment
- Proficiency in bookkeeping principles and experience with accounting software (QuickBooks preferred)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and courteous demeanor
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and problem-solving attitude
- Experience with event coordination and familiarity with event planning tools and resources is a plus
Work Schedule: Full-time, 30-40 hours per week
